Miles Kane is pleased to announce he will be special guest support to Kasabian on their forthcoming 13 date UK Arena tour this November & December to support the release of their new album Velociraptor! The most anticipated tour of 2011 just got even more attractive!

Miles Kane on Jools Holland & Hard Rock Cafe gig aired tonight!
Miles Kane on Jools Holland Later Live Tonight (Tues 4th Oct 2011)
Miles Kane will be performing live on Jools Hollands ‘Later Live’ BBC TV Show live today (04/10/2011) at 10pm, an extended performance of the show will also be shown on Fri 7th Oct 2011 at 11.50pm on ‘Later With Jools Holland’
Miles will be performing tracks from ‘Colour Of The Trap’ his debut album released earlier this year.

Hard Rock Cafe Gig Broadcast
Also today Absolute Radio will be broadcasting Miles Kane’s performance at The Hard Rock Cafe it was originally recorded on Tues 20th Sept 2011. It will be aired on Geoff Lloyd’s Hometime Show at 7pm. Listen online here

Miles Kane nominated for Q Breakthrough Artist Award
Today Q Awards announced that Miles Kane is nominated to win the Q Breakthrough Artist 2011 Award.
Other acts announced for the award are Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Katy B & James Blake.

The winner will be announced at the Q Awards ceremony, which will be held in London on 24th October 2011

Miles Kane on Radio 1 BBC Live Lounge
Miles Kane will be on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge with Fearne Cotton on Tuesday 20th Sept.
Miles will be performing tracks from his debut album ‘Colour Of The Trap’ along with an exclusive cover song. The cover song should be interesting, the last time Miles performed in the Live Lounge with Alex Turner during The Last Shadow Puppets era they performed Rihanna’s ‘SOS’ – if you missed it listen to the track here

Miles Kane to re-release special ‘Come Closer EP’
Miles Kane to re-release special ‘Come Closer’ EP
Yesterday it was announced on Miles Kane.com that
Miles Kane is pleased to announce he will be re-releasing Come Closer as part of an special EP which is set to be released on Monday 19th September 2011. Details about formats and B-sides will be coming soon!
We will of course update you with the full details once they are available to us, however we believe from recent reporting that Miles is working on new material and is currently spending time in the recording studio this month, we have it on good authority that the ‘special EP’ will include new tracks.
‘Come Closer’ is the 2nd single to be re-released from Miles Kane’s first solo album ‘Colour Of The Trap’ with ‘Inhaler’ being re-released at the start of July. Miles has recently hinted in interviews that he would be looking to record new material sooner rather than later.

Miles Kane Rearrange Video
Today the official video for Miles Kane’s next single ‘Rearrange’ was released.
Decked out in a smart suit, Miles resembles a young Paul McCartney as he strums a guitar backed by a variety of psychedelic backdrops.

Rearrange will be available to download from Sunday 27th March.
A further download package bundle will be released on the 2nd May and a “7 vinyl will also be available to purchase on the same day.

Miles Kane Album Title and Release Date – Confirmed!
Even though we confirmed unofficially weeks ago the and album title and release date – today it’s been announced officially through MilesKane.com. Unfortunately the only thing missing from the announcement was the artwork. Keep checking back for more information on that.

Colour of The Trap, the debut album by Miles Kane will be released on Monday 9th May.
Comprised of 12 tracks including recent singles Come Closer & Inhaler, the album was produced in London with Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) and San Francisco with Dan The Automator (Gorillaz, Kasabian).
Miles collaborated with a number of friends in making the record, his Last Shadow Puppets partner Alex Turner worked on the aptly named Telepathy, while Noel Gallagher and Super Furry Animal Gruff Rhys also appear, providing backing vocals.
