I've seen Noel and Beady Eye thread but nothing for Oasis... So, I've done it!
And to begin, what's your favourite Oasis song?
Mine would be The Masterplan or Slide Away (to avoid Wonderwall, Don't Go Away or Stand By me)

If you really pay attention to the lyrics of Supersonic, it's a song for drunk people! Thanks gallagher's brother!!
But it's sound great so why not
Little by Lillte is beautiful too!!

i'm not a big fan of Oasis, but i like "don't look back in anger" and this one :
in fact, since few weeks, i try to listen them more, i mean not only the songs that everybody knows, because all the musicians i love say that Oasis are a big influence for them and/or their favorite band...

I'm Outta is one of the best songs of the last album... Good song by Liam...
Oasis is a main band of the 90's so they had an influence on many youngs this time...
But, as all band, I think, best songs are unknown...
If you need a little list with the best oasis songs (on my humble opinion) just need to ask

oh yeah of course, i'm completely agree, their best songs are probably the unknown ones !! So yes, if you have some recommendations...
in fact most of the people i listen EVERY DAY are nothern boys, born in the 80s. And i have a theory : if you're a boy, born in the 80s in the north of England, you love Oasis.
for now I still have not found someone to contradict my theory
But as i like to understand the influence of the bands i love, one of my aim this year is to listen Oasis

Did you have the time to listen to oasis songs and elect your favourite???
And I would like to add "Slide Away" to the list!

and i think i prefer the noel's songs...

It's so strange! The Masterplan is my favourite Oasis song (if i had to choose)! And I've always prefered Noel's songs moreover with his voice!!! It was an argument subject with my ex
Good choice! But you have time to change your mind... More you listen, more you make links with the songs...

awww, nice vid, apollone, thanks for sharing!
one of my all-time favourites would be "Live Forever" - really can't remember how often I've played this songs during and especially after my a-levels
I'd also add Supersonic and Shakermaker to the list

I don't know why Live Forever always has a lot of success.... I like this song but I don't "adore" it

hmmm, good question indeed
I'd say it's so successful because of its title and its really catchy rhythm....even though these reasons are not really good arguments as there is barely an oasis song that doesn't fulfill these requirements

Each person has its own sensibility... But it's funny to see that...
My favourite song is The Masterplan and I couldn't tell why... Everything is question of feeling
