As Miles Kane took to the stage the atmosphere definitely changed in the venue, becoming far more charged and barely had the first song begun before the first crowd surfer landed on the stage. I have to say, his solo stuff sounded great, everything I’d expected in terms of influences, but far exceeding the delivery in his last ventures The Rascals or The Last Shadow Puppets. Very upbeat, pop songs brought to life with a voice sounding stronger than ever and a good dose of Scouse charm those fellows with mop tops would find hard not to be charmed by.
