Miles Kane’s New Song ‘The First Of My Kind’ Record Store Release EP Announced

Miles Kane today announced his new EP, ‘First of My Kind’ will be released in support of Record Store Day 2012. The EP features four tracks and opens with ‘First of My Kind’ which was co-produced by Skream at Metropolis Studios in London. Listen to ‘First Of My Kind‘ online here

The other tracks include a cover of the Tom Jones classic ‘Looking Out My Window’ and another brand new song, ‘Night Runner’. It concludes with an acoustic version of the title song to his last album, ‘Colour of The Trap’.

‘First Of My Kind’ will be played for the first time on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 Show on Weds 13th March after 7pm – Listen online here

The EP will be available on limited edition vinyl on Record Store Day, Saturday 21st April 2012. A digital version of the EP will be made available from Sunday 22nd April.

It’s the first new song to be released since Miles Kane released singles from his first solo album ‘Colour Of The Trap’ released in May 2011.
